Bongeunsa Temple
Bongeunsa Temple, located to the north of the Korea Exposition Center (COEX), was built by State Preceptor Yeonhoe in the 10th year of King Wonseong of Silla (794) and was called Gyeonseongsa Temple. In 1498, Queen Jeonghyeon, the second wife of King Seongjong, greatly rebuilt this temple, located on the east side of Seolleung, King Seongjong’s tomb, and changed the name of the temple to Bongeunsa Temple. It was originally located in Seolleung, about 1km to the southwest, but was moved and built by Bow during the reign of King Myeongjong of the Joseon Dynasty. The Panjeon, which has a plaque written by Chusa Kim Jeong-hee, houses 3,479 tablets of 13 Buddhist sutras, including the Avatamsaka Sutra and the Diamond Sutra.

Meditation on Youtube
National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Interdisciplinary Art 2023 «Electronic Forest; “Exhausted Man” focuses on the various attempts of ‘tired’ modern people who enter the ‘electronic forest’ to find peace in their tiring daily lives, as well as the cultural aspects that flow beneath them. These include ways to take care of your mental health, platform-based relationships, and the changing utility and role of art. What do you do to reach comfort level? Was that a good effort?

Exhibition: Room of Thought
The Room of Thought is a space where two semi-traveling Buddhist statues of Korean national treasures, produced in the late 6th century and early 7th century during the Three Kingdoms period, are displayed side by side. After passing through the dark and quiet hallway, you can see the statue of Bangasayus, deep in thought, with his right leg resting on his left knee and his right finger gently touching his cheek.
Based on excellent casting technology, the simple yet lively, splendid yet restrained and solemn appearance of the Banga contemplation symbolizes deep anguish and enlightenment about human life, old age, illness and death.
