Denise D. Ben-Porath, Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Kent State University. She is a Professor and Chair in the Psychology Department at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio where her research has been in the area of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), borderline personality disorder, and eating disorders. She has published over 30 articles on the application of DBT to various disorders and populations.
 
Clinically, she has over 25 years of experience using DBT with difficult-to-treat, multi-disordered individuals in various settings, including university counseling centers, day treatment programs, VA hospitals, inpatient units, correctional settings, community mental health centers, and private practice settings. She has trained thousands of individuals in DBT both nationally and internationally and is a Behavioral Tech consultant and trainer. She maintains a small private DBT practice in Cleveland Ohio.

Since recorded VOD is provided, refunds are not available for missing the live lecture. If you cancel mid-series, refunds will be prorated based on the regular (non-discounted) rate. In the unlikely event that the program itself is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
