Marcus Rodriguez, PhD, is the Founder and Director of the Youth and Family Institute (yfinstitute.com) and the Global Mental Health Lab (globalmentalhealthlab.com).

He also serves as a tenured associate professor at Pitzer College. Dr. Rodriguez earned his PhD from Duke University, completed his doctoral internship at Harvard Medical School, and received his master’s degree from Peking University. Raised in Mexico, he studied abroad in Germany, lived in China for nine years, and has traveled to over 90 countries. He provides therapy, consultation, and training in Spanish and Mandarin.

As a trainer with Behavioral Tech Institute, the organization founded by Dr. Marsha Linehan to disseminate DBT, he has trained thousands of mental health professionals around the world. Marcus co-authored a book on DBT in Mandarin and published dozens of articles in peer-reviewed journals.

**** Refund Policy: A full refund will be provided if cancellation is requested by September 19, 2025 (the day before the first lecture). Since recorded VOD is provided, refunds are not available for missing the live lecture. Tuition fees reflect the 30% discounted rate for the full series; additional discounts or partial refunds are not available for missing individual sessions. If you cancel mid-series, refunds will be prorated based on the regular (non-discounted) rate. In the unlikely event that the program itself is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
