Elizabeth Dexter-Mazza, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist and certified DBT therapist, earned her doctoral degree from Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology in 2004. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center’s Adolescent Depression and Suicide Program, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship under Dr. Marsha Linehan at the University of Washington.

 

Elizabeth is the co-author of the “DBT Skills in Schools: Skills Training for Emotional Problem Solving (DBT STEPS-A)” social emotional learning curriculum for middle and high school students. She is also the co-owner of Mazza Consulting & Psychological Services, LLC and DBT in Schools, LLC, alongside her husband, Jim Mazza.

 

With over 25 years of experience, Elizabeth provides training and consultation to mental health providers and schools globally, teaching DBT to adolescents, adults, and families. She previously served as the Board Vice President for ISITDBT and was a founding member of ISTITDBT’s Anti-Racism Committee. Elizabeth is committed to an upstream approach to mental wellness and resilience, believing her life’s mission is to integrate DBT skills into general education for every child. She is dedicated to delivering culturally responsive DBT training, consultation, and application in both clinical and school settings.

Since recorded VOD is provided, refunds are not available for missing the live lecture. Tuition fees reflect the 30% discounted rate for the full series; additional discounts or partial refunds are not available for missing individual sessions. If you cancel mid-series, refunds will be prorated based on the regular (non-discounted) rate. In the unlikely event that the program itself is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
